MaintenanceThe daily careThe daily care has to be done "dry" in order to remove the dirt or the sand using a sweep or a vacuum cleaner fitted with a brush. If needed, clean with a slightly wet cloth. Be sure not to damp the flooring too much because water damages wood. Sand and dirt have the same effect as emery-paper and should be removed swiftly to prevent scratching of the finishing. Use therefore good door-mats and put protecting patches under the legs of your pieces of furniture (if applicable put rolls "special flooring" )under your seats.In order to reduce the natural "working" of the wood, the ambient temperature should remain between 18° and 22° and the relative humidity of the air between 50 and 60 % during all the year. When the daily care has become insufficient to ensure a perfectly clean flooring, treat it with the YEPP® maintenance products. For this you need to know which type of finishing has been brought on your parquet. You find this information on the label on the packaging. For each type of finishing, there are two maintenance products: a Conditioner for the periodical maintenance and a Cleaner for the deep cleaning. Those two products are added to the cleaning water and applied with a slightly wet cloth. Periodical maintenance:Durable mat lacquer: Lac ConditionerThis solvent free product not only removes the dirt but at the same time protects and nourishes the top layer. It enhances its resistance, renders the gloss, leaves no traces and has a pleasant smell. Very easy to use: add to the cleaning water, apply with a lightly wet cloth and after 10 20 min. is your floor as good as new. Oil + hardwax: Wax Conditioner This wax based maintenance product not only removes the dirt but at the same time protects and nourishes the top layer. It enhances its resistance, is slightly glossy, leaves no traces and has a pleasant smell. Very easy to use: add to the cleaning water, apply with a lightly wet cloth and let it dry during 1 to 2 hours Deep cleaning:Durable mat lacquer: Lac CleanerThis powerful cleaner removes the remains of the conditioner, the encrusted dirt and stain that cannot be removed with the conditioner. The Lac Cleaner is soluble in water, does not lather and has a pleasant smell. After such a deep cleaning, the floor has to be nourished again with the Lac Conditioner. Oil + hardwax: Wax Cleaner This powerful alcali-free cleaner removes the oily or greasy remains and other dirt without damaging the top layer. The Wax Cleaner cleans in depth, is soluble in water and has a pleasant smell. After such a deep cleaning, the floor has to be nourished again with the Wax Conditioner using a wax machine fitted with a white pad. |
